Well everyone, after a few days of listening to coaching clients and helping a room full of people discern their brand and their best clients, I feel like I need to take out a full-page ad in the New York Times to say, "Your Audience is NOT Everyone, No Matter What You Think!" Listen, here's the simple, one-paragraph summary on this -- just to give it to you in a nutshell today. You and your brand, no matter how effectively you package it, will probably only resonate with about eight percent of your potential audience (meaning everyone). Why? Because in the end, what we buy is often one another. Did you get that? Your best customer, quite often, is buying YOU. And even at your best, you will be the right fit for only about eight out of a hundred (usually). And let's assume only four of those will be fully funded and ready for what you have to offer. So DO be out there, but be as specific as you can about your area of expertise, who your niche is, and what you're offering. Remember you're out there to 'capture the mindshare' so that the market share will follow.
That's it for today!

PS: And don't forget to sign up for my special report, which I'll be sending on December 20th, called “Online Branding for Teens.”
This report will have 3 specific areas that teens and young adults can focus on while online to showcase their gifts and unique value. Why? Because if they get it wrong, they could be branded for life – but if they get it right, they BUILD a brand for life.
