With the holidays already here, it’s a good time to BE thinking 2014. And not just about what your goals are for 2014, but who is going to help you achieve them.
My son and I recently traveled to Thailand and Bhutan, a smallland-locked country ringed by the Himalayan Mountains with China to the
north and India to the south. It was a wonderful mother-son adventure on
many levels, including an eight-mile (and 1,400 stairs!) hike to
Tiger’s Nest, a Buddhist monastery carved into a sheer cliff side.
Collaborative consumption. Peer-to-peer rental. The access economy. Whatever you call it, sharing goods or services – for a fee, that is – is bigger than ever. Thanks to the Internet, more peer-rental companies like AirBnB, Lyft, and Boatbound are popping up than ever before.
